finally got the starter

thanks to a member on here who is a friend of the owner at chev power i managed to get hold of the last starter motor of its type in wa, picked it up today along with a new battery so hopefully it will be all go this sunday if the weather gods are kind to us, dont realy care if we only get one or two fish , its going to be nice just to get out on the water. so far the winds arent too bad . thanks to those that helped out on my previous thread about the starter motor and battery

starter motors
What was the deal with the the starter Rus, why couldnt you use a reduction mini starter or does your block have the offset/cross type bolt patten ?????

not sure what your talking
not sure what your talking about but 1 bolt is from the bottom and quite long , the other from the side and only half the length. either way they are a pain in the ass to put in.

i have never known how to fish, its the wife and kids that get most of them. altho i do mannage to get the odd one they miss

The weather will change another 10 times before the weekend, good to see you got a chance to get a break and get out in the tub, i would rather be floating around the harbour for a few hours than spending another weekend looking at my rig sitting on the hardstand, good luck triple Fs

Hope you get out there and get 8 months worth of fish! I was going to go out Saturday. Then Sunday. No hang on Saturday. Wait Wait... Ummmm. Public holiday Monday. No No.. Sunday again! LOL. At least give me one day. The Missus and kids are away for a week. I drop her off at the airport Saturday morning! Come on weather. Be good.

got out there this morning and fired the tub up . the 350 is growling like a tiger in anticipation of hitting the water.if all goes well with the weather we will out there this weekend
