Did you drop a line down on them and if so how did you fare, looking at the rate of drift it seems a bit high to stay in touch with the bottom unless you are using quite a bit of weight.

easily hold bottom with 48oz sinker, we were driftin with the current due to no wind so pretty much straight up and down. Was really good fishin
