Mate we have some spots
Mate we have some spots literally 250 metres from shore and we have shot/seen Mulloway, 10kg Dhuies, King George Whiting, Skippy, Breaksea and other tasty reef species. having had a look at your avatar though(your boat :D) you could probably head out somewhere around Three-mile reef, heaps of Skippy so good for beginers. around the Bouvard reefs(just past Tims Thickett and about 2 miles offshore) are a good spot as well. just have to find the spots. We always chuck some berley over(chicken pellets, tin sardines) to get everything from skippy to dhuies to come along. Just keep sounding around until you find some likely ground and anchor and set some pellets/berley down. I would like for you to come out to give you a run down but dad has a no strangers policy.......
hope that helps mate!!
and thanks for the comments guys!! and the fish shot at the end was a skippy amongst the buffys.
