after looking into extending the transom of the swity we found it needed some work. Ended up extending the transome while they were at it. Got the marlin boards and ladder along with the in hull foam .finished up with a good cut and polish.
Just gone in for the bimini .

Cox Bay to be specific, usually go out via the cut unless there is something going on good in Comet Bay or around that way.
Talking about the cut, I have noticed on a few occasions now that at times you can get a decent size swell coming across the mouth. It doesn't worry or cause you concern on the way out as you are on the right hand (std) side going out, however when you are coming in on the left hand side (Pt) side all of a sudden you can find yourself with a quite unexpected and breaking swell behind you. Not often but just something to be aware of if going out in 1-5, 2-0m swell.
Which may not be what has been forecast but has come up when you have been out a decent way.

Even a smallish swell on the strong outgoing low tide can be hairy on that side. I just shoot back in on the north side now

Very true Jackfrost 80
A smart move that you take IMO, I hope it doesn't turn into a bar crossing type of out let such as they have on the east coast.
