First time fishing Exmouth

Hi I'm taking my first trip to Exmouth in a couple weeks.

Move got small gear sorted, was wondering what people

recommend using to chase sport fish such as GT's and

queenies land based?

All my my fishing will be from the shore as I have no boat

and also no 4WD

hey mate, this will be my

hey mate, this will be my second time up there and will also be there in two weeks, from the 11/8 to the 15/8
mostly in a tub but will be landbased some of the time, I can catch up with you at some point if you like and share my limited exp or just for a fishinf session, last time up there I just used my tailor/salmon gear, a Wilson wasp 5-8kg 9ft spin rod and 15lb braid on a shimano spheros, this handled some of the larger queenies quite nicely.

this time I'm going with a 9ft FWA spin rod, I think its 5-8kg and my shimano stradic 5000 with 20lb, reasons for going up a touch in braid is purely because I will be fishing more the reef holes and such on the western side.

plenty more knowledgeable people on this site that im sure will be happy to help mate.

that's just what I've used and will be using up there,
good luck man,
