First time to Shark Bay

Heading up to shark bay next week, just after some general info from anyone thats been before. Were gona be restriceted to landbased, ive got my trusty 6foot rod and also a 12foot beach rod, but was thinking of getting something around 8foot for lots of walking and casting lures around, with maybe 12pound line?
have bought a few rapala x-raps and some more SP's to chuck around, will chuck big baits on gangs on the beach rod for wotever is out there.
Where looking at camping somewhere near bottle bay, up past denham and monkey mia (on the west side) but will be spending about a week so will probably move around, tell me ur secret spots :)

also plan to spear fish, have checked up on a few places ur not allowed to, but any advice on wheres good? im fairly amatuer, can only dive to around 5m, have a new ocean hunter speargun that ill be testing out up there.
ive never been up north so also wondering about the tides and how theyll affect fishing, where can we light a fire, and any other hints and tips are more than welcome.
alot of writing sorry, but thanks in advance for advice!

go towards the tip of the peninsula denham has a shallow sandbank that goes out as far as you can see bit annoying good for whiting ,flathead take some good squid jigs for the local jetty and pack your sharking gear.
