school mackerel?

Yep spotted mackerel

Based on the large blotches, I'd say this is a School Mackerel Scomberomorus queenslandicus. Spotted Macks S. munroi tend to have much smaller spots.

Thought it was, but wasnt sure as most information i read says they are normally found north of Shark Bay around to Sydney, and this was caught metro close in to Ocean Reef marina.
