Fish Parasites Beware

I have read about these things before, but thought they were a bit of a wives tale. Obviously its true. It was not written in the article however, I read previously it only can be picked up by humans if the fished is not cooked.

Can't say I have eaten raw

Tue, 2011-07-05 20:14

Can't say I have eaten raw bream but pretty much give everything worth filleting up here a go, raw. Obviously tuna is sensational, however am partial to spanish mackerel as well with a dab of the old wasabi and soy. Still here but that might have something to do with the liquids consumed whilst filleting.

Cheers

Mullows, I keep wasabi and soy on my boat just for the Tuna occasion. Last year I caught BFT nearly every trip, this year I'm prepared.

How good is it mate...got into a couple of fresh ones (Longtail and yft) when we were at the Montes. Made sure we had a couple of tubes of wasabi and about a litre of soy before we left.

Cheers
