tailor
the dawesville cut is always a sure bet for tailor , anchor where the cut meets the estuary at dusk , but make sure you've got your saftey gear coz the d.o.t and water police are red hot at the moment.

Or troll during the day with cheap old Smiling jacks in blue
through the middle of the cut, concentrating on the pylons. Otherwise as Rubes said not a bad idea. The entry to the cut on an outgoing tide also great for Tailor, salmon trout and other nice ugglies as the bait get flushed out. Just watch the current, you need a very sturdy anchor in the cut.
Up the rivers like serps and Murray for black bream also xxy. Find a snag, cast a good bream lure a few times, no joy find another snag. Placky blood worm slow jerked works well, but when you put them on try to make them coil around the jig head (catch a blood or sandworm let it loose and see that they "swim" in a coiling motion). Try and imitate that.
Beach wise Tims (packed) and White hills good for a fish and fun on the beach.
Herring everywhere on the beaches and northern cut this time of the year, Burley +++ and they will be there.
Havent been down to Mandurah in 2 years living in karratha now but fished the area for 16yrs flat out prior.
Offshore in a tiny dont go far and pick the bloody good day. Still some fun off Melros. Look where the pots are and there is usually some odds and sods to keep the entertainment up. Or sandy/weedy areas for KGs.
