hey was just wondering if anyone has fished the edges of the flat reefs around perth, example like the west coast hwy section with bits of flat reef u can walk out onto. i have a couple of questions
what species is everyone targeting.(ill be targeting taylor and anything else that will eat a mulie under a float). rigs style and do u use burley
and what swell are u fishing and does the the tides play a part in where u can fish?
any info would be appreciated. even if you would like to pm me something that would be better

Low Tide Low Swell at
Low Tide Low Swell at sunrise. I am doing it for Tailor - but there are herring, silver bream and salmon (and the usual shit fish).
I use Lures, some use unweighted mulies on gangs.
A pair of reef booties, a shoulder bag and the ability to contort yourself into odd angles to land the fish is required.

I fish with a guy that uses Mulies - he gets bycatch of herring and bream, so generally gets more fish. As far as tailor go, we do about the same.

Learn to baitcast mulies, best option for what your doing if you want tailor.
