Grab a couple of squid jigs
Grab a couple of squid jigs and head down to where the bend is and start looking for ink marks and catch a feed of squid. It's hard work if the water is chocolate milk though.

Yup you get some monster squid there
Squid would definitely be worth targeting. But there is a fair few skippy there which make good fun aswell as some other species like salmon, tailor, herring, kings, sambos, snapper, mulloway ect.
Just take some squid jigs, pollard & some mullies and you'll catch fish mate! Last time i went there with a mate we got a uge squid hood was 40cm easy. Good luck

Caught alot of decent whiting
At the start of the jetty mainly just sand whiting around the 25cm mark but have also got a few kg whiting there aswell make great live bait for the sambos that cruise the jetty. Also same as most landbased areas if the weather is up then pinkys should be around aswell
wont catch em sitting at home!
