Fishing LB this weekend

Gday all
I'm new to Perth and keen to explore the coast a bit. Bought a light outfit with some plastics & spoons, and I'm keen to have a look at the beaches somewhere within an hour of Perth to see if there's anything that wants to bite (trolled reports, no word of any tailor, herring or whiting off the beaches?!?).
Anyway plan is to try scarborough or somewhere, unless I get some better advice. Anyone's welcome to join - be great to meet some fisho's to share a beer with (or share a few fillets with on a good day)

i went mindarie on the
i went mindarie on the weekend tailor where goin off and caught couple cobbler and weirdly i caught 4 mullet on prawn hahaha but we got probz 15-20 tailor between me and bro only kept 1 each so there probz still there i was there for sunset then it died down

Had a crack
Didn't make it up to Mindarie, got a little soft after I saw the grey clouds
Went down near scarborough from about 9.30 - 11.30 this morning, throwing a 20g chromie twisty around. No hits, plenty of weed.
Went to South Cottlesloe and had another dig for about 20 mins after that, but still no joy.
Contemplating trying an early morning session, on the beaches or in the estuary under some lights. Any sucess stories over the weekend?
