thats a fair gap between
thats a fair gap between albany and carnarvon, probably easy enough to try all the marinas if you dont have a 4wd, prob a good idea to give a bit more info like time your going and the fact you dont have a 4wd. are you traveling the whole way up the coast or just want 1 spot to fish

Sorry for not mentioning specifics I don't have a 4x4, I'm wanting to go somewhere out of the Perth region, don't have a boat, don't really mind species (anything decent in size) and anytype of fishing rock, beach, jetty

head north mate, the further you go the better it gets. jurien dongra kalbari all have easy to get to fishing spots, further north then that is up to the rest of the guys to help you out. not a great deal of landbased knowledge past kalbari from me

Marinas
Check out the towns that have marinas, they usually produce good fish. Cervantes, Jurien bay Gladstone and Carnarvon jetties are all worth a shot or two.
Ask in at all the tackle or bait shops on the way for info on whats biting locally and how to get there, inside knowledge goes a long way when you don't have a 4x4.

Flat rocks
How about S bend just south of Gero? Caravan park right there gravel rd (might even be bitumen these days) into Flat rocks with the chance of catching big tailor, mulloway. sharks and renowned for land based dhu fish captures. Whack a balloon out and you might even get a big mack.
