Fishing Metro South vs North river by Boat
Submitted by Jason P on Sat, 2016-01-23 17:35
Got to thinking on people's thoughts on fishing the Metro area South vs North of the river by Boat.
As my usual launch point is from Woodies, and on rare occasions Rockingham.
Woodies is like 3km from my house so it's just so easy and convenient but have never launched from any Northern metro ramps
So is there any benefit that North has over a South that would make it worth while a trip?

Just parking tickets and 2
Just parking tickets and 2 hour queues to launch your boat if you're not there at the crack of dawn. But there seems to be more consistent catches from nor imo.

The old Springfield vs.
The old Springfield vs. Shelbyville bout. Haha.
It's a good question to ask. How deep you normally fish, Jason P ? My mate and I have been talking about taking the tinny north for an explore.

NOR Wankerville don’t do it
NOR Wankerville don’t do it .. more fish who knows, but you risk being assimilated to polishing your rod all the time and jiggy jiggying with soft plastics all day .

If you gotta go North Jason
If you gotta go North Jason go way north of the usual haunt's like Hillarys..Two Rocks [ Well named as it has only has two rocks out there to fish around ] Every weekend they get hammered by thousands of punters trying to land the hand full of Skippy that are still struggling for survival in there waters along with a few diseased skinny Pinkies that inhabit these areas.
No mate stay in Gods own country down south. Home of Bon Scott..Meagan Gale and..and shit loads of other famous people that have just slipped my mind for now not to mention fantastic amounts of fish to be had.
