Mullet chunks mate
Get some fresh mullet and dice it. That's the best go up there. The river is chockers with smaller bream and grunters. The best bet if you can swing it is to hire a boat of some description up there and head up the river looking for snaggie spots. It's a great day out if nothing else. I was up there last night and this morning and left because of some really strong SE winds. Mind you I was fishing the coast and not the river.

youll be suprised with what youll catch
we've caught heaps of good sized bream and descent sized soapies. a mate of mine caught a 40cm bream there. mullies have always worked a treat for us. cant imagine finding to many spots sheltered from this wind today.
