6lb VS. 15lb fluro

I was using 6lb last time for flats fishing before i got bitten off by a reasonable size flathead, taking my TT ghostblade with it.

Is it better to go up to 15lb or risk it on 6, as i haven't been able to get to the tackle shops and I am going fishing this arvo.

Anything appreciated,

Andrew

i reckon you should stay light as then the fish put ua a good fight and also you can cast light lures further

I dont think he's talking about his mainline......

Yeh your leader is abit light if you're hooking flatties in the area. Just go with the 15lb for now until you get some 10lb leader.

You'll get fewer hits but atleast you are getting your lures back.
