Hey guys we are moving down to Bunbury and as I have never fished down there, what is it like and how far do you need to go to get a decent dhuefish or snapper. We have a 5.3m with a 145ltre tank.
Cheers :)

Interested
I am interested in the comments that come forward.
Been living back down here after 30odd years away but yet to actually drop a line in, just put the cray pots back in yesterday and will see if I can get some crabs around the groin, woops sorry, groyne tomorrow on the way in after checking them.
Have plenty of marks from north of Naturaliste to Augusta but nothing in close of Bunbury

Well
I have been fishing the area for over 40 years and like any place you just need to spend some time on the water , with that size tub you will be fine and through the autumn and winter months we catch most of our dhus in under 12 m
Lots of people will tell you how baron it is out from Bunbury but there is plenty of country to fish within 10 to 12 nm under 30 m
I just might be chasing deckies myself soon as my young bloke is moving to Perth for uni !!
The next time i see that jig will be in the mouth of something big !!
