I have a metaroyal 5000
and cant really complain as it handles my jigging really well
good strong value reel for the price and smooth drag through the range.

Well
I don't think you can go wrong with either to be honest.

I have 5 Saragosas. And we use them to the extreme, Smooth as drag on all. I have 2 4000, a 5, a 8 and 14. All used on different set ups on the boat ready for action. The only one in the range I havent got is the 18. The 14 000 is as good as, and I havent seen the need for a 18 000 yet, but then I dont chase Monster GTs yet.
I do like the Metaroyal but havent used it.
Hopes this helps.

Sneak peek @ the BANAX Kingpin 5000
Banax have around 10 new models of reels coming out this season. Here's one you might be interested in.
The Kingpin has been designed by GLADIATOR for Australian condition with the help of input from tackle stores all over Aus. The reel has the banax HCS (hard core system) that makes these reels so tough. The HCS is the trilogy of precision machine cut brass gears, brass pinion and stainless steel shaft. The drag system is 6 part, incorporating 3 carbontex and 3 alloy washers giving 14kg of drag. There are 6 high grade stainless steel shielded German bearings, titanium spool lip. Full power metal body, rotor and spool to keep all internals straight when under load reducing wear on parts. The drag is water resistant and the reel carries a 5 year warranty on ALL parts. The reels are made in the Banax factory in Korea.
The reels will be realeased in September.
If you need any more info drop me a PM.
Cheers
