We all used to make our own
big John made plenty for our quobba trips boat fishing up north, put a bit of a sweetener on the hook and you can catch anything, best fun is high speed cranking off the rocks , in the burly trail
all aggressive fish love bigjohnsjigs

Les Boddington
Most Metorious fish with a 5kg pink snapper south of Yallingup. Les Boddington was a legend when I was kid, we would walk for miles up the beach on club field days to see what Les had caught, he often fished with Dennis Gilbert who had Fleets for tackle in Morley. I remember like yesterday walking a couple of ks up the beach at Wagoe and they had a pair of big Spaniards, would of been 1985.
