I was wondering which fish stores does everybody go to? and which one is the best? Ever since i started fishing ive only been to the tackleshack in malaga and thats where i got all my stuff, but are there any other good stroes out there here in Perth?

You sorta get an idea what
You sorta get an idea what you need/want etc and you end up knowing where quality gear is...
Sometimes shop all over the place.. however, have loyalties for more pricy items - bigger discounts etc...
Few others to try
GotOne Woodvale
Bluewater TW - various stores
Campbells Pro Tackle in leederville
then the chain stores, etc etc bcf, ranger

You can't beat the Tackle Shack and Oceanside for service
and value - especially if you are a Fishwrecked member.

Ocean side for me
The guys know what they are talking about and are a good bunch of blokes to have
a yarn to. They always have time to explain what you are targeting and what gear
you need. I always like to shop at a place that they are fishermen them selves not
just sales men.

For me personally
I try and use the independent tackle stores - tackleshack, bluewater and oceanside. Very very rarely do i use BCF - but I often get vouchers etc from friends for birthday and so fourth and they are 99 time out of 100 BCF.
But if i get to choose, the three independents for me (oh and Flyworld if you are into fly fishing!)

campbells
i normally go to campbells tackle in leederville, they have a pretty good range of lures, rods, hooks ,reels etc, sometimes i go 2 tackleshack, but if you go to bcf expect to pay more, also last but not least balcatta tackle on erindale rd ,they have great specials on penn 850 and 950 rod and reel combos between 160 - 190 dollars for boat and surf combos, which is gr8,i havnt seen any other tackle stores advertise 4 the same price and these guys also have a gr8 range

BCF own Campbells in case you were not aware. They just run it seperately to keep the team diawa range.

South of the river
There is only two south of the river for mine.... for expert advice for those that need it try OCEANSIDE on South st., Oconner. Nothing these friendly guys dont know..... The other shop I like is as Redballs said Camping and Tackle World Dixon Rd Rockingham, they have good advice [one or two are fishos] and good prices ,large range of gear . One word of advice if you dont already know Keep away from BCF ,these people know f*ck all about the gear they are selling ect ect .

Agreed!
Living in Mount Barker, and working in Albany, I buy all my gear from Trailblazers. I've known Alan and Daz for a long time and they're always very helpful. BUT! If I was in Perth, I'd definately be buying from Matt or Ryan. The importance of supporting your local fishing (etc) store is not only important, it's imperative to keep them in business and to sustainthat personal professional and 'inside knowledge' (tackle and other fishing knowledge).
