I guess the one I would like to have most is a Pontiac 6.6ltr Trans Am and on my first visit to the US I was thinking of buying one and doing all of my travelling by road. Unfortunately I didn't have time to do that. However, if I could re-have any one of the cars I have owned I would have the Rover 200TC. More comfortable than the Statesman and just as sporty as the Mitsubishi Scorpion
I saw a TV advert for an exercise machine today and it was said that just three minutes a day of the machine would give me the body I dream of. How will three minutes a day on an exercise machine give me Miss World?
most stylish car on the road i reckon.
or a Landau, cant get over the retracting 'armour' plates over the headlights.
getting rare now. probably missed my chance unfortunately.
also reckon a HZ sandman converted to overlander would be pretty hard to beat.
When I was in the US a few months ago, fuel prices were escalating and a lot of oeople were selling off their "Yank Tanks" some of them at give away prices. I saw this beaut priced at $5k but I reckon they would have accepted $3.5k It's a Loncoln Continental. Not sure of the year but immaculate inside and out.

Porsche Cayenne 4x4 Turbo Gembala edition. Standard 495hp at wheels, 0-100kmph at 12.6secs. Also the hydraulic suspension is sweet. Outdoes alot of performance cars on the track. A dream forbie at something like 480k

with a camprite offroad campertrailer.. and a tinny on top of the trailer... perfect for traveling but still in comfort and power...
Just like the one I wrecked and nearly wrecked myself in.Canary yellow, leather bucket seats,186+40thou,179 port and polished head,35/75cam,extractors,triple 2inch SUs,lowered 1 1/2ins and 7in chromies to top it off.
Put it backwards into a drain at 80mph,finished up in a mangled heap 240 feet away and I spent 8 weeks in hospital with a fractured spine
For me? I already have a boat mover (or at least I soon will again). Let's assume therefore, money is no object. I would want jaw dropping style and charisma with hand beaten panels and classic engine parts and drive train (sounds like me ay? )
So; for me it HAS to be Astin Martin all the way!
Had a french blue Triumph Stag for a while - beuatiful vehicle.
But Astin Martin is Vehicular Orgasm!

True enough. With great respect to everyone's choice. In this day of disposability and mass production, compromise and industrial/corporate processes, here is a vehicle, where every panel is HAND hamered into shape. You'll not see orange peel paint jobs on these beauties.

I would call that a mid life crisis car. The only reason they are hand built is because they havnt worked out how to build a production line yet hahaha.
Note the complicated electronics ................. 6IX all the way and footy on the weekend .... and yes those handles on the inside of the door are window winders for all of those under the age of 30 ......

Well if you can afford to own the car you don't need to worry over the cost of insurance for it or you'd be too scared to take it out for a spin
