Fishing Sunday

Well the weater was good and we headed out from Two Rocks .The tide was from the North which is not good.Arrived at the first spot 36m of water and we were on ,we had a large school of snook and tailor YES tailor under the boat ,Ive never cought tailor out the far ,and on the bottom, any ways it wasn't long and we had a double hookup of dhuies.Jody as usuall got the big one 17kg ,nice fish. We took Jesse's friend Kye with us who gets really seasick, after reading in the paper a couple of weeks back about the guy who taped his toes together ,we thought we would give it a go.bugger me it worked he was not sick and did not feel sick all day .He did also take one sick tablet.Any ways kye was on fire with a 12kg and three dhuies around 3-4 kg he was stocked ,I sat on the gears most of the day and watched but i tell you he was still smiling 5 hours later . The day finish with ten dhuies five released ,two blackass released three tailor, snook and a sargent baker. It was a top day out. And i think Kye mite be tagging along next time... pics to follow

Dhuies

Mon, 2009-06-01 07:15

Don't you love those dhuies. The 17kg must of pulled like a freight train and must look massive. My dads fish we thought it was about 16-17kg by how wide and fat the fish is untill we weighed it.

well done.

Great experience for the kids! Well done.

Good work Paul on getting your crew onto descent fish. Some great fish caught and me thinks the kye tape thing is a "mind direction change/taking away the seasick focus" but worked....he's gotta be stocked on his 12kg!

with the insulation tape blocking off circulation to your toes and gang green setting in, why would you worry about a little bit of sea sickness lol

Great to see a new pb Jody, will be hard to beat that one, its a stonker.

Love it when the young fellas get into big fish, can't wipe the smile off for weeks and sure beats X-box.

Well done Paul.

So much for the almanac, showed all white on Sunday and Monday, yet we picked up 12 Dhuies on Monday too. I think it must be the rough weather stired them up a few days earlier and put them on the chew. I have a new spot now called "White Day" just to remind me.
