Hey all.
Just wondering who is going out tonight in the storm to fish the beaches and try and get some big fish?
Im planning on hitting up a local beach with fresh squid heads and some mulies. Im planning on staying all night but if it gets to crazy ill bail any one else with the same idea?
Cheers danno

If theres no lightning around
If theres no lightning around then it would be worth a shot, atleast the swell is still down for tonite, (although on the increase) which means slightly less dangerous conditions. Plus from a recent report from Poketz it seems the snapper are already hanging around waiting for a feed

Would probably stow all you
Would probably stow all you gear away whilst the main storm comes through... pretty impossible to fish in 110km/hr winds and pouring rain. After could be good though.

Threw poppers and metals for a while, no luck. Although (even though It's a shitty brand) the Mojiko 12ft Surf Cannon was flinging them miles straight into that Northerly. Great budget beachcaster!

Went down, burleyed, fresh bait changes often, got windyer and the rain was starting to sting so bailed home with only one small run that took to clicks of drag and left the bait after that. Bit of a let down but its alright any exuse to go fishing right.
