The price is very competitive for whats in the market these days. These rods have been tested by all that work in the store and we have even purchased them for our own personal use as they perform very well for the price. Using blanks that are on par and beyond those of some higher price ticketed rods gives you great value. Have been selling these rods for over 3 years now and cant complain. Feel free to drop past the store to check them out.

Hi mate,

Agreed there is a small variety of LBG rods. FWA Extreme rods do now make a 11'6" OH rod that is more than capable of landing most critters. Otherwise we do stock a variety of other brand LBG rods instore.

Hi mate,

Dependant on what line class you want to run we would suggest either the Spin 6'6" 2-4kg or the Spin 6'6" 4-6kg.

light/medium drift

Mon, 2013-03-11 12:25

I'm looking for an outfit suitable for drifting in windy conditions in water from 15-50m, so it needs to be able to handle a decent amount of lead, maybe up to 16oz.  I think I prefer o/h for this type of thing. What would you recommend?

The Jig overhead PE3-5 would

The Jig overhead PE3-5 would be more than suitable to use as a bottom basher and will pull Dhuies, Pinkies, Baldies and more backwards. The tip on it is firm enough to drag 16oz along without saturating the blank.
