Yep, 1st Christmas and week
Yep, 1st Christmas and week off work as a boat owner and it looks to be blowing hard all week. The coast was looking choppy all day, yet there still seemed to be a number of trailers at the ramp.. i'm asking myself if I am soft or are they hard core???
Hopefully the cricket lasts for 5 days to fill in some of the gaps in my plans for this week.

Yer I think I will just have to brave the wind on the weekend. I only have a 4.5 metre tub. Seems to be fine for a two hour window in the morning. Just keen to get further out to target some Dhu etc.

We took out our 5m Cairns Custom Craft plate tinny on Xmas day to Garden Island
Yes, it was a little lumpy heading over, but you just need to drive a little further to make it comfy for the crew; no sense in smahing them into the chop
Granted we weren't fishing but you could have when we were heading out and coming back in - it's sheltered in behind Garden Island; you could always target some squid on the weed beds.
