Five years' jail for fatal Sydney boat crash pair
at last a judge that see the true crime of drunken skippering of a boat!
5 years, yes they deserved more in my eyes, but well done judge.
Quote " SKIPPER Matthew Reynolds and his unlicensed passenger Percy Small have both been sentenced to at least five years' jail over a boat crash on Sydney Harbour which killed six people.
Their trial was told Reynolds was intoxicated when, minutes before the crash, he handed over the wheel of the workboat to Small, who was affected by alcohol, cannabis and cocaine reported AAP.

Saw this on the news. I
Saw this on the news. I didn't even hear about this when it happened. Good to see someone was finally held accountable even though it may not have been as harsh as people would have liked. Putting him behind 25 years still wouldn't bring those people back.
They should be jailed 5 years Yes! (minimum)
I think banning the skipper from ever skippering another vessel would make an example of the situation.
In my opinion the skipper should have a more severe punishment than the drunken dickhead, The drunken guy wouldn't have known any better and the skipper was full aware of how dangerous a vessel can be.
If someone was drink driving, Crashed and killed 6 people the punishment would definately be more severe wouldnt it?
