What is the best part of the bank to fish for snapper?
Are there parts of the bank that produce more than others?

FFB

Hey Rod, I fished the FFB a fair bit when I was back in Perth and have seen results across a fair stretch, both on the inside and outside drop offs, and the holes. As Ryan and Matthew would recall, we even had a (FFB) comp based around there and had some fair results including a very decent Dhui on the inside. I guess it also comes down to all the other usual factors as well. My personal best Snapper came from only 5 meters around there. That was about 20 years back mind you.

yeah agree some big fish get tacken around the bank, great for kg's and some of the bigger dhuies can and do get taken on the inside of the bank behind the island and many a fish over 20kg, plenty of burley will help with the snapper and first light too

If you work your sounder on the back edge/West side you'll find some lumps just on the drop off in 18-22m, anchor/burley.....that's very good!
