Flathead Fishing!
Submitted by Elora Danan on Mon, 2009-01-12 10:32
Gday Fisho's,
Its been a while since I've fished for Flathead and I kinda forgotton all my locations where I use to fish for them. If anyone would be kind enough and give me some places to give a whirl and when's the best time to fish for them? I hear that it could be anytime aslong as the water is flowing. Is that true?
Thanks people. Appreciated big time!

Point walter
The spit at point walter is always good for flatties in summer and its a great visual spot for sight casting.
Rueb also got one at the narrows the other day.

Yep tried the Canning bridge
Yep tried the Canning bridge area before just walk along the shore and cast around. The snags can be annoying time, but most importantly watch out for broken glasses.
