Caught this off Denham,
Was a tad over 2kg's and 62cm long.
Is it a fringe eye (Cymbacephalus nematophthalmus)?
or something else? There are plenty of similar flathead.....

Hard to pick
Hard to pick because of the angle of shot and the dark colouring with light reflection

Cameron, for my money you are correct, these beauties are Fringe-eye Flathead Cymbacephalus nematophthalmus.
