Free Vehicle, Trailer and Child Restraint Checks

The Road Safety Committees/Working Groups from Cities of Stirling and Swan with the help of Towsafe are offering a service on 8 April 2017 where people can:

  • Have their vehicle checked over by a qualified mechanic for any safety concerns in the leadup to the coming long weekends.
  • Have their trailer checked by the guys from Towsafe in Osborne Park for any safety concerns in the leadup to the coming long weekends.
  • Have their child's restraint fitting checked or fitted by a qualifiedType 1 fitter

The service is free and it works on a first come first serve basis so there may be a wait if there's a queue and there will be a few spot prizes including 3x $50 vouchers for Towsafe.

To be a Type 1 fitter do you have to be good at child restraining Jack?

I've got a couple that could use some additional restraining at times, they seem to chew through cable ties........

Bump. This is happening this Saturday from 9am-12pm and it's gonna be windy as hell so you may as well get your trailers looked at and get stuck into some maintenance before we all head away for the upcoming long weekends!

I can't really help you out with that Boon, maybe trying some fencing wire?
