Went out into Cockburn sound today in search of the lochness snapper but couldn't find any took these pics off my sounder fish? Cheers Daniel

Gain is way high for that depth I would think .. heaps of info via search to tweak it

What setup are you running
What setup are you running with the furuno mate? shoot thru or transom mount & what kw
Harro off here helped me set up mine & this is what settings I usually run
pic advance between 1/1 or 2/1 on speed travelling & the zoom mode is put on bottom lock
shift usually set around 5 to 10 depending on demersals or seriolas
interference on auto
color erase around 10% & clutter set at zero also white line
tvg on medium unless out deep
tx power 100 % (this makes a shitload of difference & will drop the gain being so high) with tranny rate at 10

It's a transom mount 1 kw
It's a transom mount 1 kw it's just hard to determine what fish look like I've caught dhuys in 30 meters of water and the sounder didn't show any thing not even a speck? cheers daniel
