Game Fish Outriggers

Where do people go to buy these in Perth? Plenty on the net, all East Coast. Looking to set the boat up probably from the hard top roof or rocket launchers. Happy to look second hand if anyone is looking to sell their set up.

Bluewater Melville had a couple of sets of riggers and bases. Not the cheaper style though.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

I've got a set off 60kg
I've got a set off 60kg reelax ones sitting in my shed but probably a bit big for what you want.

If you intend to use them for
If you intend to use them for what they are intended for (rather than hoisting a flag in Australia Day) invest in a good quality set - if you can make a set of reelax sidemount work (ex bill collector) thst will be a lot easier to operate than the hardtop mount style (reelax)

Thanks for the feedback.
Billcollector - yeah 60kg would probably be a bit big. What length are they?
The reason for going from the roof top is to try and get a little bit of extra height.
My boat is a 7.5m ali hardtop. It seems fairly simple to find roof top or gunnel mounted bases that can handle 4.5m poles rated to 24kg. Once you go beyond that it looks like you need the wishbone style mounted to the side and I am not sure I can make wishbones work. Perhaps junior wishbone models might work as the footprint is smaller, and these will be a lot easier to operatd as pelagic pointed out. Or I can buy the Taco brand but I am not forking out $3k plus for a set of bases.
So I am thinking from a practicle point of view 4.5m poles with bases rated to 24kg and some sort of bridal going from the pole 2/3 of the way out back to the front of the boat to give them a bit of support and stiffness.

6.5 metre poles on relax
6.5 metre poles on relax 1etre bases I had them on a 7.0 metre walkabout but mounted on roof for the height. Had a drive station on roof so was easy to operate from there.

Roof mount
Thanks Billcollector. What is a 1 meter base? I am thinking a wishbone style, but can't picture how this is done from roof. Do you have a link? Might be interested in your poles if I can make it work.

I have a set of Taco Ali
I have a set of Taco Ali telescopic poles ( the proper heavy duty ones) you can have for $100. I used them
at Exxy and landed a few marlin but got given a set of carbon fibre ones that I am using now, so they are just taking up
space. No bases.
PM if interested.
