Hope the fish turn up in the next few days. Spent 7 hrs out the today on the west side with plastics and didn't see a billfish. Only managed a 5-6kg dollie and a 15kg wahoo. Weather should turn out alright for the start this sun and carry through.

Gamex

Sun, 2007-03-18 08:36

First day of Gamex and I'm at the ramps, YAY! :(

Yesterday saw a 80kg striped marlin landed, 1 30 kg, a few sailfish and a couple others people wanted to keep quiet. One 150kg fish was raised and hooked for a bit but busted off. Lots of spaniards about all around the 15kgish mark.

Best fish I saw yesterday was at the marina, a 10kg coral trout that went 80cm, got a photo of the lucky angler. Will post it up when I get the net at home early next week.

Cheers,
Adam
