Geographe bay KGs

Took the kayak out for a few hours today, managed 2 under size KGs, 25 and 27cm, god knows how many trumps and a couple of nw blowies that wouldn't f#*> off, bit the hooks off all my rigs! Had 2 squid jigs out with no joy, any one havin more luck than me? Was round a km out fishin the holes in the weed.

The bay is pretty big. The holes in front of Port geographe befoer the outer channel marker is always good for all sorts. Always pick up a feed of squid drifting across them and usually some wrasse to go chase dhuies. try both sides of port Geographe marina entrance. between there and the jetty is always good for us.

I would've thought
It's simply the wrong season.
Personally had far more success on bay KG's in the cooler months than summer.

Was off Broadwater, had plenty of luck last year around this time but was more towards abbey. Could be I just haven't been puttin in the hours this year.

Wrong season
Possibly wrong season I have been out there sometimes having to release 44cm ones because I have got my bag limit.
