Just wondering if anyone has been out there before?? seems mostly 'unknown' to most people. Whats the fising like if any have been?
It's 60 odd miles out.
Any info would be aprpeciated.

Thats because its kept quiet, very quiet. Can't say I've been, but I've heard a few things and the reports are that its nothing short of awesome. (That was for billfishing though)

Heard same things. Might even head out for a look Sunday if this weather says on target.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

all i can say is that it's a bloody long way to go for a fish especially if the weather turns bad. I've spoken to guys working off work boats deploying wave bouys and they have fished both cod bank and glomar shoals and said it was awesome! nice big reds and trout.

Spent a 4 days up there shark fishing in 2002. Set 500 hooks on the long line and only go 220 back on the first night, got busted up by biiiggg tigers and hammers.Once we worked out the area it was a very productive trip. While anchored at night got into a heap of spaniards by hanging a lure over the back of the boat and letting the tide do the work, 20-30 each night.
Lost heaps of gear fishing the bottom to big ooglies that we didn't even get to see but also got some good reds and trout. Would love to go out there for another visit using better gear than what we had on board then.

Long way out
a couple of lads went out there two weeks ago,it was that good they went 3 days in a row,They used 600 liters of juice in the 3 trips but they bagged out out each day on reds ,trout and rankin. With the boat size in k town growing each year I can see this spot getting some more work in the future.
There are two types of people ,do'ers and watchers
Right now the do'ers are the doing it
And the watchers are watching us do it
