GME Ebirb replacement

Not sure if this is common knowledge but if your epirb was bought from 2012 and it's battery has expired you can drop it off at GME in Bibralake and they will send it away for battery replacement and service for no charge and it will be delivered back to your door. Thought i was going to be up for another new Epirb.

Or is the serial number enough?
Mine has come up for renewal and was just wondering about that as I recalled something about free battery replacement.

Serial number should be ok.
Serial number should be ok. As long as its from 2012 they will replace battery.

Mine is also just about to expire, so was wondering how I get the free battery upgrade. Mine is still in the box, and the free offer is written on the box so shouldn't need any further info
