Shelter Bay Question

Hi all,
I'm due to go to Shelter Bay this Sunday for a week.
Seebreeze for Shark Bay is not that representative of the conditions out from Steep Point, so I'm taking my readings from Gnaraloo....I'm assuming that reflects better what we might see in the open ocean.
The swell is pretty big...looks like 4 metres or so at least Monday and Tuesday before dropping off Wednesday. Can't see beyond that.
I'm hoping regulars to the area can comment on what swell makes the crossing over the fault line dicey.
Will 4 metres cause the fault line to break right across. Also, if we just stayed inside, does any of the ocean swell cause any issues in Shelter Bay?
Hope someone has some experience with this.
Cheers

Meteye
Meteye on the BOM site gives you a better forecast but sadly doesn't include wave and swell.
If you are worried then pull the boat out and put it back in once the swell has dropped off. If you don't want to pull it out and the swell is carrying through then move your mooring further in to the bay round passed the house on the point.

Meteye is the best site to use IMO
I was there in Shelter bay two weeks ago, Meteye predicted everything pretty much spot on. The swell was about 2.5 - 3m at its biggest while we were there and it was breaking around and just north of Monkey rock (in places I didnt expect) but not across the fault line. I would be very careful in a 4m swell.
