I am going to give the whiting a bit more time this summer. What is a good depth for the big fat ones of Warnbro/Rockingham?

straight out from point peron as mentioned right on the 30 mtr mark, also get the odd kg in the area. we found drifting is better than anchoring up , one thing you will cop a lot of is the small flatties. constantly got them around the 25 cm mark
