The bloke is 58 and is arguably the best in the bizz....

He turns 59 this year...
I like the way Maynard kinda stalks him around 1040 for the final fills.
When they played this here it was the first time Maynard went to the other side of the stage and you can see him wander over and hear the crowd react as they did here.
I havnt stopped playing the new album since the concert and it’s a constant reminder for me of riding in Japan just recently where I was blasting it through good headphones, nearly straight lining runs cause the runs were empty.. what a shame.
There is a real good chance of more tracks being available, sadly I feel this may be the last album. The lyrics for the whole album kinda lead to that possibility

Tool are liked by many people across all genres i reckon and its probably cause they dont really fit into any category! Killer drummer for sure and in a league of his own.

Not on tools level but im digging these dudes lately for the atmospheric stuff. I think its around the 2min mark he (drummer) gets into it but you gotta listen to the whole thing to appreciate it (like tool).
