Great day out !!!!!!
The call was put out for a Deckie awhile ago and I decided to answer but don't get me wrong I still love going out on my ski ..... Today was the day to pair up and have a look around ..... As the weather predicted were we were going to fish, we decided to stay in close ........ We chased the salmon up first and manage to hook up on my waxwing lure hooked to 20lb mono on a gamoku rod ..... The fight had us all around the boat and dodging the reef break plus all the other boats wanting a look in ....... Finally got the fish aboard ........ Then it went quiet so we decided to move on to another area for some KGW but all we kept hooking up was juvenile snapper time to move again ........ Then we hit the hot spot manage to bag out in a hour ....... I would like to say thank you to the guys that put it out there to have a total stranger on board for the day ..... We had lots to talk about and it wasn't just fishing ..... You know how you are .....
