if you watch the vid close you will see the guy holding the device puts his head down just before he drops the device over the side.i think he is using a battle noise simulator of some kind as to me he looks like he is expexting whats coming,also if that was a grenade the rib would be shreded and so would be both occupants,also the noise is not like a high explosive detonation
