Guildford Tonight 04/01/11

Put the boat in this arvo and headed up to Guildford, (fish market Res) had dinner and headed down to to guildford bridge as the mozzies were extar bad at bennet brooke..
Landed 8 Good size bream and even 3 tailor, Yes tailor up Guildford. Never seen or heard of tailor this far up steam..
(Have got them at garett rd, late last year)
will be back out on thursday night and may try for my first mulla for the year..

yeah i was also fishing guildford that night got plenty of big tailor and bream were like blowies also picked up couple of large crabs and a flathead no pics only have a phone cam which is no good and tried for a mulla no luck lot of baitfish around but and the water is very warm when the tide moves in

na that wasnt me i dont have a boat i fish up near the oval or around the snags been fishing there for years

do u guys fish off a boat at fish market res? cos i don't see any easy access on the banks. like a jetty or even an opening with no bush on the banks.

There's heaps of places to fish off the shore there from the boat ramp upstream. Looking on google maps looks pretty bushy but when you park your car there and go walking you'll see there's plenty of space to sit on the shore and cast.

I have caught tailor, mulloway and flathead upstream from
Guildford, especially in years where we have had very low rains.
