HDS8 gen 1 and EP60 fuel sensor?

Ive got a Gen 1 HDS8 and can see an EP60 fuel sensor for sale.
Does anyone know if they are compatible?
Im away at work and Lowrance site seems to be saying they do once software upgrade done (did it a few years back)

yes it is compatible, not the smoothest of software and not a whole lot of info but definitely gives you the basics

HDS1 and EP60
I used to use an EP60 on my HDS1, so should work without problems.
Takes a few trips to calibrate, but not difficult.
