Heading to Bremer Bay

 Hi guys ,me and the tribe are heading to Bremer Bay next weekend and will be towing our 5m boat.Looking to do some landbased fishing as well as some boating ..weather permiting...as i have never been down there was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some helpful advice on what we could expect to catch and any knowlegde of the area would be awesome...not asking for any marks or secret spots ..just some general knowledge....cheers ..and Happy new year to all...

 plenty of reefs within 10km

 plenty of reefs within 10km of the ramp that constantly produce normal reefies..just zig zag around the magic 50 m contour and u will find plenty of reefs... fresh fish for bait

 I agree with Rowanhill.

Bremer is my home town. Beach fishing can be fairly hit and miss in January. Peppermint Beach can be pretty good on its day.

biggest problem is the amount of other peoples lines in the water.

Lots of good reefs in and just outside the bay.

some very good whiting patches along Main beach as well. just gotta do a bit of searching to find them at times
