I am going up to PortHeadland,next week for a week with my son in law,is there any one who would be kind enough to advice me the best hance to catch some fish,both from the shore and in a boat (5mtr) I am happy to travel but as I have never been up that way any and all advise will be much appreciated.Thanks .Diver

years and years and years
years and years and years ago.... about the mid eighties, we used to anchor up near the shipping channel markers and drift baits down next to them... used to get some good golden trevally.
trolling for spainards was always good up there as well.
don't know if thats any good to you. i am sure there will be some forum members with much more recent experience there.

As above Pale Ale & Randall,thank you for the info,I am know hopping I might get a Barra,as they are on my bucket list along with both Atlantic & Pacific salmone.But I will be very happy with some Golden trevers as they go well and not bad on the fang
