Help on gear

Looking at buyin a shimano t/curve gt special pe3-8 max drag 12kg

And a shimano calcutta 400

Any feed back guys

Putting a spheros 14000 on the gt for now

and looking at a 8 to 10kg t/curve barra rod for the 400 calcutta

Looks like you got it sorted. Both rods are top quality and as is the calcutta. You gonna be getting something more powerful for the GT rod soon?? Coz the rod can handle a fair bit more than what the Spheros can dish out.

Steve the calcutta/t curve combo that you mentioned is what I was useing very nice indeed,I ended up replacing my rod with a team daiwa advantage pro bit stiffer and a bit more grunt plus $$$$$$$$$
