help need good mobile outboard mechanic who does not charge like a wounded bull

Hi people any body put me on to a mobile mechanic in North Perth who can help me with a leaking gear box issue

I use Waterline Marine in Joondalup. Pretty sure he is not overly expensive, but I worry more about the outboard working rather than how much it cost.

Thinking of getting my Tohatsu Motor Serviced, wondering whats a decent price just for a standard service?
Seems the marine mechanics usually charge an arm and leg!

Anyting under $100.00 a hr seems good from what i can find. Wonder if beer, foldingstuff and glass repairs would count i wonder what happened to the barter system thats my preferred method Hahahaha .

If it wont start than its not really just a service. It could be carbies or something electrical?
A service is just oil, plugs, filters and sometimes (100hour) impeller's.
Cheap service i have said before is just that, a cheap service.
I'd be more asking for someone who has a excellent mechenic they would recomend.

Got my tohatsu serviced for $240
This was done by Arthur page but he clean out everything that could come off the engine, I don't know anything about them. He re-tuned the engine, I would say he was at my house for at least 2hours or more?

went to Cameron Waterline Marine today awesome bloke sorted my issue no gearbox problem drained the oil on the spot service fantastic and no stuffing around and professional to boot will be my mechanic from now on
