deffinently spheros if your thinking of a spinner. there are also many good well priced overheads. the saltists can be good for casting with a bit of practice and they can also double as a bottom bounceing reel

Shimano 5500 or 6500 baitrunner

I have both and cant fault them.
Dont know what they are like for jiggin but for beach and boat fishing they are great. Had the 5500 for over 10 years and still going strong!

upgrade the drag washer and the bearing race etc and you have a very capable and versatile reel.
