Herbs and Spice

Ok Guy's, if you haven't tried it, your missing out.

Sensational, we just had some Cuttly and stinky Pink Snapper from Carnarvonites back yard, with a chunk of filthy Rankin Cod.

This spice mix really lifts the fish without an overpowering taste or after kick.

Plenty of Sichuan pepper, Sarawak Pepper, salt chilli  and Lemon .

2 tblsp of cornflour to 2 tsp of spice mixed with seafood, or dry roast mix to release the oils and flavour, and sprikle on fish.

Gauranteed to produce wood!!!

Seriously get on board. I think this came from a shop in Margaret River, but google for distributors.

I thought the same until i tried it on some cuttly and squid, liked it so much because it is so subtle a flavour.

Bang some of this in the flour and squeeze on lemon juice after cooking, and i swear your missus will be wanting to renew your vows ;-)

Heading back up your way in Early June  ( full moon ) to head out with Graham Carger

for another Islands Adventure.

Usually steer clear of the full moon because of the stronger tides making it a pain in the armpit.

Missus and family like their spices but it gives me curry the next day so its done in batches, Dads first then the hordes next

There you go, bagging it before you even give it a go.

Lots of people will say don't ruin fresh fish by putting lemon pepper on it.

You don't Ruin the fish FFs, it's a seasoning which includes LEMON  & PEPPER , salt and chilli flakes.

Fair call if you try it and don't like it,

Sounds good to me, there's a big difference between enhancing the flavors that are already there and completely masking them.
