Herring Bay Tomorrow?

Probably heading to Herring Bay tomorrow for Aussie Day. Anyone else going tot be there?

Only problem is, we've never navigated in the bay before by ourself safely (have followed boats in there before, or gone by memory and hit the bottom! LOL),but got GPS and Charts etc. I've heard there are new markers there.

If you see a white Trophy and a guy holding a 50kg Mack you'll know its me! haha

Swan river fisher plenty of water over the reef aslong as you follow the markers, we sometimes hit bottom (sand) on low tide but thats with a 42' riverfront.

Take your squid jigs too .

righteo so we should be fine. And even finer with a feed of squid!

But how do you not get nervous or anxious when you hit the bottom in a 42' boat? There'd be shit all over the deck if that was me (slight exaggeration) lol

cheers bud

The keel hits pushing the back up and the front down so the boat still moves forwards, very minor hitting the bottom thats  coming in from the north eastern side entrance.
